David G. Campbell, CEO

David Campbell

David Campbell has been successful in logistics for over 30 years. His career began as a District Manager with then start-up Burlington Northern Air Freight. He quickly moved through the ranks to become the first Regional Vice President for BN with 17 profit centers from Washington D.C. to upstate New York. The region grew to $70 million in sales with consistently the country’s best EBITDA.

Next, David built Bekins Express which was backed by the Bekins Holding Company. This was the first time-definite (2nd day), guaranteed delivery system in the U.S. for packages over 70 pounds. While building Bekins Express, Dave accomplished the following:

  • Developed the business plan and raised $5 million in venture capital.
  • Hired over three hundred people and built the sales and service structure that enabled the company to grow from zero to $40 million annualized revenue within two years.
  • Developed the marketing and operations systems to support the rapid growth.
  • Assisted the Minstar Company (purchaser of the Bekins Parent Company) to sell the Bekins Express organization to TNT-Australia.

Dave then moved onto building a retail, logistics distribution system, Parcel Plus, Inc. that grew to 150 units via franchising. This company built the first online logistics platform for pre-IPO eBay before selling the Parcel Plus franchised system to a quick print franchising entity.

Franchise Capital Group, a business brokerage firm, followed and soon evolved into a relationship with Newport Beach, CA based National Franchise Sales. During the past 7 years, Dave has been involved with significant M & A activity
